Silvia AngérSilvia Angér joined CFI in 1997, starting in Marketing/Revenue Management followed by the Credit Department. She currently serves as executive assistant to the CFI and TES leadership team. Silvia assists with cataloging and disbursement of the questions and answers for social as well as Your Voice is Heard. Her fluency in both Spanish and English makes her a critical part of our communications department. Silvia attained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University located in Joplin, Missouri. Silvia inspires her colleagues to maintain a steady routine of physical activity by setting the example in faithful attendance to CFI’s gymnasium. She is a valued asset to Steering Your Health as a frequent guest author.
Trinity Brazeal
Trinity Brazeal joined Contract Freighters, Inc. as Benefits Manager in 2018 before becoming a Benefits Manager for TES Benefits in 2019. Prior to becoming a Benefits Manager, Trinity worked as Office Manager for an established physician’s office. This opened the door for her continued career path in employee benefits administration. She went on to work as the Benefits Administrator for Watco Companies, beginning her career in the transportation industry. Altogether, she has over 15 years’ experience in the benefits industry. Trinity earned an Associate of Arts degree in Social Science degree with a concentration in Psychology from Labette Community College.
Katlin Owens
Katlin is the Senior Marketing Manager for TES. In contact daily with drivers, executives, recruiters and other employees, she is a valued resource and guest author for Steering Your Health. Joining the team in 2012, Katlin hopes the blog inspires drivers to be healthier on the road, keep safety top-of-mind, and encourages them to share their own stories. Owens earned a Bachelor of the Arts in both Public Relations and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
Candice Pickett
Candice Pickett, Benefits Manager, began a career in 2013 HR for Integrity Home Care while completing her BSBA in Business Administration focusing in Certified Global Business Professional, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and International Human Resource Management. In 2015, she moved Con-way Truckload’s HR department before moving to CFI Benefits in 2017. She has helped rebuild CFI’s Benefits department after a 10-year span of benefits being handled by Con-way Enterprises and has been involved in CFI initiatives such as reviving the CFI Health Clinic and the kickoff of an Open Enrollment Roadshow providing employee support beyond Joplin, MO. Today, she is a Benefits Manager as a shared resource for TES Benefits and TFI US Benefits.
Penny Froehling
Penny Froehling joined the Operations department at Transport America providing Administrative
Support in 2006 and was promoted to Benefits Administrator in 2011 and Payroll/Benefits Supervisor in
2015. In 2019 she was named Benefits Operations Supervisor for TES Benefits. Through the years
Penny has gained valuable knowledge within the trucking industry through the many assignments she
has been given within Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Payroll, and Benefits. In addition she
was a member of Transport America’s Wellness Committee and has enjoyed serving the needs of our
employees. The past several years she has been involved with ADP benefits implementation, system
conversions and history conversions. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to create and manage our benefit programs.
